
As Blue Events operates across a network of partnered servers, rules may vary depending on where you joined from.
We strongly encourage you to review these rules carefully to ensure you understand and comply with them.
1. You are responsible for your own account.
- You are solely responsible for any rule violations associated with your account. Any attempts to deny or shift this responsibility will never be accepted as an excuse.
2. Use common sense.
- Trying to list all possible wrongdoings in these rules is nearly impossible. Therefore we encourage you to use your sense of right and wrong to guide your actions and conversations while playing events. You can still be punished for things that are not explicitly stated in the rules.
3. Players are expected to contribute to a positive atmosphere.
- Any actions, language, or behavior that disrupt the positive atmosphere, including but not limited to, excessive negativity, trolling, causing unnecessary conflict or flaming are NOT allowed.
4. Attempting to circumvent rules with the sole intention of causing distruption or harm to others is not acceptable.
- We look to honor the rules to ensure a safe and fun gaming atmosphere for players to enjoy. The spirit of the rules is as important as the letter of the rules.
Blue Events is a place where many players from various communities gather from different partnered servers. To ensure everyone is enjoying the events to its fullest, we have some chat rules in place to ensure that chat doesn't get out of hand.
5. Advertising is NOT allowed.
- Do not promote external content, Discord servers, Minecraft Servers or Realms in chat. You may mention the server you joined from if asked. But we ask you to keep this to a bare minimum.
- This includes posting names, external links or any attempt to hide or mask it in chat.
6. Swearing is NOT allowed.
- Acronyms such as "wtf"or "af" are permitted, but only if they are not directed at another player.
- We strive to keep the chat as clean as possible, as Minecraft is a PG game for all ages.
7. Bigotry/hate speech including but not limited to ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, and religion is NOT allowed.
- This includes also slurs of any kind, regardless of where they are used. If you are found to be using a slur in any capacity, you will be punished accordingly.
8. Harassment and excessive trolling are NOT allowed.
- Respect other player's boundaries, and do not intentionally make players uncomfortable in chat.
- Do not cause any harmful trolling, such as intentionally blocking a player's view or group targetting a single individual over and over again.
9. Spamming and excessive use of capital letters is NOT allowed.
- Just as the rule states, do not intentionally spam or use CAPS excessively. Cases like "OH MY GOD" is fine if its only once. But excessively using CAPS or spamming it will be handled accordingly.
10. Sexual discussion and all forms of NSFW in chat is NOT allowed.
- As mentioned earlier, this server is PG. Which means players of all ages plays these events. We therefore ask all players to keep chat PG. Any discussions that diviates from this, will be dealt with accordingly.
11. Discussions of controversial or inappropriate (NSFW) topics are NOT allowed in chat.
- This includes but is not limited to politics, drugs, crime and religion.
- We want to keep the chat family friendly and appropriate for all ages. Keep that in mind when discussing topics to gauge if they are appropriate or not.
- If a player uses their punishment to cause issues, staff reserves the right to publicize the fact of the situation.
12. DDoS threats or threats of real life violence are NOT allowed.
- This includes threats that are claimed as "jokes", they will be taken seriously.
13. Impersonating a Event Staff or "pretending to be" someone that you are not is NOT allowed.
- We understand that some players enjoy to roleplay, and Blue Events are a network of various different communities. But we want to set some clear boundaries on what we consider to be okay and not.
- All forms of impersonating a Event Staff is NOT allowed.
- Do not enforce rules in chat in a manner that deems you or self claim to be a "event staff".
- Do not proclaim to have any authority or power over something or someone unless you are a player with the said "authority" or permissions to execute said "power".
- Do not proclaim to be a famous or large social influencer, Youtuber, Streamer, etc, if you are in fact NOT the player/person in question. This also includes any attempts to defuse the argument claiming to be "undercover", "on an alt" or anything related. This will be dealt with accordingly.
14. Do not share personal information or social media.
- This includes your own and other player's selfies, full name, phone number, address, etc.
- Do not share your age, even if you are above the age of 18.
- This also includes any information or speculation relating to why a user may or may not have been punished on a partnered or external server.
15. English only in chat
- For ease of moderation, please only use English in chat.
- As most of the partnered servers have this rule enforced, we want mirror this ourselves to keep things similiar to our partnered servers.
16. Exploiting glitches/mistakes is NOT allowed.
- If you find something that can be exploited in events, we ask you to report it to a staff member on your server, which can forward this to the developer. Using any exploit(s) to benefit yourself will get you banned from events, the duration depends on the severity of the case.
17. Offensive usernames or player skins are NOT allowed.
- This includes but is not limited to sexual, political or generally offensive usernames or skins.
- Some skins are "harder" to see, these are generally okay to use with moderation. But skins that exploits rendering to give you an unfair advantage over someone else are NOT allowed.
18. Using Macros, Auto Clickers or any other form of software are NOT allowed.
- Staff have the authority to punish or remove you from an event, if found using any of the mentioned to gain an unfair advantage in the event.
19. Selling Event access, rewards or services for real money is NOT allowed
- You can NOT exchange in-game rewards/services for real-life money/items.
- You cannot sell access to host events or event tokens for real-life money/items.
- We encurage you to follow the rules or ask a staff member on the server you joined from regarding topics such as selling the rewards from winning a event or paying a event pass holder for access to host event(s) if you are unsure.
20. Lying to staff or intentionally wasting staff's time is not allowed.
- This includes false reports, delibertely spreading misinformation or gaslighting of any kind
- We wish to help everyone with any questions or problems they may face. If you are found to have lied to a event staff, they will be far less likely to assist you with future requests. We're here to help, not be taken advantage of.
21. Admitting to breaking event rule(s) publically or privately is NOT allowed.
- In doing so may result in you facing the consequences for any rule(s) you have admitted to breaking, regardless of whether or not you actually broke them. There is no exception for joking, as there are only two possibilities:
- 1.) You have actually broken the rule.
- 2.) You are "trolling" but necessitating a staff investigation and thus wasting staff time.
22. Providing information that facilitates, encourages, or promotes the breaking of event rules, publicly or privately is NOT allowed.
- We encourage our players to uphold the rules to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience while in events. Any attempts to disrupt this will be dealt with accordingly.
For the most part, any modifications that do not give you an advantage in events are fine. For example, mods like Optifine/Sodium and Armor HUD are perfectly fine. Mods that alter Brightness/Gamma values above its natural values are NOT okay, the sole exception are during the use of Shaders. 23. The use of a hacked client is NOT allowed.
24. X-ray mods and x-ray resource packs are NOT allowed.
25. Mods that automate building in any way (including but not limited to: block placement and block selection) are NOT allowed.
- This includes running scripts to perform any actions without manual input.
- Having Litmatica present as a mod is fine as long as its not used in any way to copy build schematics or to use its EasyPlace feature.
