Spleef is a classic Minecraft minigame where players compete to break blocks beneath their opponents' feet, causing them to fall into a lava pit or void. The last player standing wins the round.
The arena consists of 3 layers of
Snow
blocks.
The blocks only disappear when a player breaks it with a shovel, or by throwing snowballs that hits it. The game requires quick decision-making and precise movement, making it similar to
TNT Run
,
though instead of automatically breaking blocks when the player move across them, the terrain disappears only when a player breaks it with a shovel or snowball.
The game originated in the early days of Minecraft’s multiplayer scene, with players using shovels to dig out snow blocks in custom arenas. Over time, Spleef evolved with variations like Lava Spleef, TNT Spleef, and Bow Spleef, incorporating different mechanics and challenges. Its simplicity and fast-paced gameplay have made it a staple in Minecraft servers and minigame networks.
With the Event Pass players can showcase their style with any exclusive shovel skin or a random one, making each match feel fresh and exciting. Everyone have the Diamond shovel by default.
